FLA Awards Nominations

Nominations needed! Let’s make our 2009 FLA Awards ceremony the best ever. Nominate a Florida library for Library of the Year or for one of the Library Web Site awards. Maybe you know someone who should be nominated for Librarian of the Year, which is presented in recognition of outstanding and ongoing contributions to Florida librarianship.

Don’t forget last year’s new award, Maria Chavez-Hernandez "Libraries Change Peoples' Lives" Award. This award, named in honor of Florida State University’s Dr. Maria Chavez-Hernandez, recognizes an individual library employee or group of employees who have made a demonstrably positive and big difference in the lives of Florida’s library users.
