2011 FLA Annual Conference Invitation

Register now for the 2011 FLA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida! You’ll have the opportunity to hear keynote R. David Lankes, Director of the Information Institute of Syracuse. He will speak about librarians as change agents, which is sure to relate to any type of librarian!

ALA President Roberta Stevens will speak at the First General Session on Thursday, May 5th.  Ms. Stevens is the Library of Congress Outreach Projects and Partnerships Officer and Project Manager of the National Book Festival.  Her presidential initiatives include “Frontline Fundraising,” “Our Authors, Our Advocates,” and the “Why I Need My Library” contest.

Budgets are tight and time is precious, but conference attendance is a great way to network, share resources, and rejuvenate for the year. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
